Quick Access PowerPoint Toolbar

PowerPoint Toolbar

A quick access toolbar is a quick and easy way to access some of the hidden functionality in PowerPoint, without scrolling through endless menus. Here at BrightCarbon we all have our favourite tools, and we’ve created a PowerPoint toolbar packed full of the most useful tools for you to download and use.

Our PowerPoint toolbar contains lots of tools we use on a day to day basis, such as:

  • Alignment tools
  • Grouping tools
  • Object positioning tools
  • Common animation effects
  • and more…

PowerPoint Toolbar

It’s a great place to start developing your own customised PowerPoint toolbar.

The video below explains how to install the toolbar. The toolbar file is available to download below the video.

Download the PowerPoint Quick Access Toolbar (it’s in a zip file, as the original file can sometimes cause issues when downloading.)

Thanks it was a breeze to download – just need to note that you can right click to toolbar and select to show below the ribbon!

Thanks Russell! Great to see you’ve been able to get this up and running nice and easily.

Great suggestion on the right-clicking too!

I am having trouble importing your quick access tool bar as I have Powerpoint 7 and therefore no ‘import/export’ button. I have found powerpoint.qat but still not sure how I can get the toolbar onto my laptop. Can you help. Thanks,

Hi Sue – unfortunately the import option for the toolbar is only available in versions of PowerPoint 2010 and after.
However, you can still populate your own quick access toolbar manually. Simply go to any button you’d like to have on it within your ribbon, right click your mouse button and then select the ‘add to quick access toolbar’ option.
